The Facebook Papers confirmed what many people suspected: that younger generations aren’t committed to that platform, and don’t seem to have any interest in being there. TikTok and other, newer platforms have taken over as the social network of choice, with over half (58%) of Gen Z consumers and more than one-third (39%) of Millennials now on TikTok. For brands, this presents an opportunity to connect with this audience in new, innovative ways. So how can brands effectively and authentically market to Gen Zers?
