5:30PM – 8:00PM EST
Investor relations and public relations are both critical communications functions in a company. But what is the relationship between the disciplines and how should they work hand-in-hand for the benefit of an organization – one that’s already public and one that may be considering an IPO path?
In an ideal world, PR and IR can collaborate to reinforce corporate and brand awareness, product value and key business differentiators for investor and customer audiences. In today’s rapidly shifting communications and finance worlds, a strong PR/IR partnership is critical to ensuring strong and consistent messaging, in turn increasing visibility and long-term value.
This session, led by Mary Conway and Beth Kurth of Conway Communications, will provide attendees with an overview of the investor relations world; how IR professionals drive communications with the financial community (and with an eye on government regulations, of course); and the basics every PR pro should know about investor relations. The program will also share best practices for how IR and PR teams should leverage each other’s efforts on an ongoing basis.
Our session will kickoff at 5:30 pm with a light dinner and networking. The session will also include time for audience Q&A at the end.
